Would that be from the speech where he said, "Freedom is not America's gift to the world; freedom is God's gift to humanity"?

If so, why is it "the stupidest thing anyone has ever said anywhere"? I'm honestly bewildered. I don't personally believe in God, but I don't have a problem with that line any more than I do with, "...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights"
