They... um... they took my toilet seat.
They, in this context, is my cleaning crew. I assume. I can't accept that thieves broke in, walked past the Tivo and the Xbox and the like, and stole my toilet seat. That would be silly.
This might be the most absurd moment of my life. They left no note. They left no comment. There is no call from them on my phone.
They took my toilet seat.
What does one say? I mean, seriously. What does one say? They took my toilet seat.
The apartment is clean, on the other hand....
