Things are better

It's been a bit since we've spoken, and I left on a low note, so I ought to check in and say hello.

We've been busy at work, building towards Parent's Weekend, which was yesterday and today. I'm actually at work, waiting in case a parent needs to talk to me. I've had one so far today, in a very pleasant encounter, but otherwise it's pretty quiet. We're out at noon, and then, we have the unprecedented situation of having tomorrow and Monday off. So things are going well on that front.

And I'm doing better.

Quite a bit better, really. Through counseling and medication, we've greatly improved both the anxiety and depression -- it kicked in about Wednesday, really, and has been getting better. I've been killer busy, of course -- that hasn't changed -- but I'm dealing with it better. And as of Thursday, I felt good for the first time in a long time.

I felt good yesterday too, even during some nail biter moments. I think that's a good sign.

And I feel good today.

I'm doing better. That's the significant point. From here, we get better still, I hope.

yay, yay, and an extra yay for feeling good! yeah, however little i actually like the idea of playing with my brain chemicals, when they're out of whack, external aid is a good thing.

Excellent news, my dear! Never discount the usefullness of psychotropic drugs and a good therapist. We'll have to compare notes :p

Keep getting better!
