Okay, this is surreal.

Okay, over my bed in this hotel, there is a symbol. Of a wire coat hanger, with one of those red circles with the slash through it. You know. The "No Smoking" symbol. Over a wire hanger.

Either this was Joan Crawford's hotel room, or the management is explicitly prohibiting back alley abortions in this bed.

This is curious. At least with the "No Smoking" signs, the cigarette is clearly lit and producing smoke. The management is saying, by its negation, "There shall not be this object in this room", i.e., a smoking cigarette. Presumably, (and I think the hotel staff would agree) the presence of an unburning cigarette would be acceptable in the room.

This leads to an inevitable question, and its follow-up: Are there coat hangers in your hotel room? And if so, who put them there?

Of course, they may just be attempting to say "don't nick them, please" in an obscure and roundabout fashion, but if so, they should have an image of a shifty-looking stick-figure slipping hangers into his trench coat and have that negated. How does one draw a shifty-looking stick figure?

I could draw a shifty stick figure with hangers in his trenchcoat, but it would look like an advertisement for the aforementioned back alley abortionist.
