People are silly!

I've snarked some new strips this week. (I'm making an effort to hit strips I've been reading -- or recently been pointed to -- on Snark of late. Just... well, because I'm in that mood.)

I just did ones for Anywhere but Here, the Green Avenger and Candi. And they went over well.

As it turns out, they're all on Comic Genesis. Which has nothing to do with why they came up. ABH I was pointed too recently and I devoured it. Abby's comic I've been reading... well, for a while. It was a matter of time. Candi was more recent than Green Avenger, but it's also regular.

I admit, when I realized Candi was also Comic Genesis, I alluded to it in the subject line of the post.

I've now received my first piece of angry e-mail about doing it. To whit:

I have to admit -- I really, really love the HAH. It takes class to throw in a HAH.

I think that an hypothetical polythesitic-style God Of Webcomics who actually did control the entire cartooning universe through his reviews would get less mail about it than you.

On that topic, I think it would be a good idea to invent an Egyptian-style god of webcomics, immediately if possible. His divine avatar would be as follows: From the neck down, he'd be a normal human, but instead of a normal human head he'd have the head of a Scott McCloud or something. I will name him 'Snarkhotep.'

I dunno if that'd work. The suffix "-hotep" supposedly means "is satisfied" (therefore "Amonhotep" is "Amon is satisfied" and so forth.)

And if it got out that the Snark could be satisfied, the drama, man, the drama...

Snarkhmet, obviously. Raging and unpacified by anything short of beer. ;)

Now there's a god we can all get behind!
