State of the Burns

I seem to be recovering from any number of things, from exhaustion to ennui.

Writing is going well. I have six weeks of work done on Sekret Project SP (no, it has nothing to do with "Something Positive," just in case one of the folks who is convinced Gossamer Commons is an extended crossover with Randy despite being a wholly different genre, Randy stating definitively he won't do crossovers any more, and our explicit statement that we're not crossing over with Something Positive continues to decide we're being "coy"). I have two new weeks of work done on Gossamer Commons. I have set up a Wiki to store my Imperial Space stuff (for stories like Trigger Man), and I've gotten about 5,000 words of redesign and writing on Trigger Man done.

I need to hook up with Joey Manley, at least by phone, and get some beatdowns done on The Recluse, at which point I will consider my writing life In Shape, at least for the moment.

The emoting, it does drain you. Where are the dress pics???

Where is that Wiki and does it mention the planet named after me?

Because I am definately pimplinkin' that.

It's locked, I'm afraid. The wiki's designed to organize my notes in an easy (and easily backed up) fashion.

On the plus side, the planet named after you is in it. So, after my books start selling tremendously well and Steve Jackson decides to release a couple of GURPS Imperial Space supplements, it will be child's play to export your entry into it. ;)

Ok, cool...
but what about those photos from the play?

C'mon, now, the guy's busy getting his shit together. You've got the one already, extrapolate! :D

Eric, glad to hear things are starting to get squared away. Hope the trend continues.

... we should totally cross S*P and GC over now.

You are a bad, bad person.

Which is, of course, why I respect you.

Wooo! It's very good to hear that your writing engines are coming back to life. I'm very much looking forward to seeing new Recluse and Gossamer Commons stuff. (And Trigger Man... come to think of it, I don't think I've seen any yet. My fault, probably, since I tend to drop out of internet life now and then without warning, which causes me to miss stuff.)

But I fear to admit that I have absolutely no idea what a Wiki is. I get that it has to do with writing storage, and probably nothing to do with floating toy robots from bad seventies live-action morning shows, but what is it?
