Sidewinder has been nominated for a 2003 Gen Con EN World D20 System Award, with the winner to be selected at this year's Gen Con.
Am I proud? Hell yes, I'm proud. Something I'm listed up on the front cover (first, no less) has been nominated for one of the Industry Awards that has actual clout in the industry?
Will we win? No. Mutants and Masterminds has been nominated in the same category, and it's one of the finest RPG products I've ever seen, pushing the envelope in many ways we've never even considered. But damn, it's nice to be nominated.
(And Avalanche Games, who not only was nominated twice in the Origins Award category but actually won it? Not represented anywhere on here. Mu hu hah hah hah.)
