Have we considered the possibility that Michael Jackson thinks he is a Super Hero?

It would explain the uniforms. Well, perhaps not the Sergeant's Chevrons he wore on his red satin band uniform for the 60 Minutes interview where he protested his innocence of child molestation. But still. It would explain the bandana style masks and hats he often wears. It would explain why he has been systematically changing his appearance. And it would explain why both of his 'long works' -- Moonwalker and Captain EO -- involved him having superpowers.

Perhaps he thinks of Neverland as his Fortress of Solitude, and the children he gathers around him as his child sidekicks, ready to fight at his side. Perhaps he thinks that any minute now, he will be summoned to Police Headquarters and asked to bring the Insane Clown Posse to justice.

Am I saying he's innocent of his crimes? No. No, while I believe in the presumption of innocence in our legal system, I have my own opinion and think that the circumstantial evidence is pretty damning.

So no, I'm not saying he's innocent.

I'm saying maybe he's batshit crazy.
