Project Wonderful
Mar. 7th, 2007 10:04 amLast night, just before midnight, I replaced Google Ads on Websnark with Project Wonderful ads. Ryan e-mailed me this morning to say I'll probably want to drop the total number of ads on the page to increase the value of each, which I'll do as soon as I figure out how to do that without dicking over the people who already bid.
However. And this is a big however. I can extrapolate trends right now. Not huge ones, and without much granular control, mind. But enough.
Right now, my earnings are three times as much as comparable Google Ads. If we were shooting for that same mythical hundred dollar limit for payout, similarly to Google... we'd be looking at getting paid three times as often as we were before.
And that's after ten hours. I have no idea what this will look like next week.
This ain't rich-making, but it might well fund the monthly excursion to Ottawa to see Wednesday, and that ain't chump money.
