To celebrate, I went *out* for a roast beef sandwich instead of eating one in.

Today I've hit a threshold event, and I figure I ought to report it because... well, I have an ego the size of Montana.

So. Folks have gathered I've done some rather... extreme things to lose weight before I... well, died.

As of this morning, those have culminated in a 150.5 lb weight loss. I figure that once you break 150, you have to call it a threshold.

I've been saying as I went along that "I've lost my niece in weight," or "I lost a high school sophomore." Or "I lost my Mother."

However, 150 deserves something cooler. Therefore... I have officially lost one ninja's worth of weight.

I'm just scared he's out there, conspiring to get revenge. Ninja don't need bones, damn it.

Mazel Tov, my dear!!! I am beyond words. . . . ::HUGS::

yes, but if you have lost one ninja worth of wait, it's out there and possible to come back. good work tho! you deserve a tad more than a roast beef sarnie :)

Huzzah!

Hm. I wonder what else can be measured in ninjas.

(I myself am stalled at a bininja. For what it's worth.)

Wouldn't he be more like a son? Wouldn't his fatty form thank you for his very existence, and pledge himself to kill only for your noble causes?

[identity profile] theweaselking.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
That's really, truly impressive.

Just think - now, you could start ranking your weight loss by professional boxers and wresters. Currently, you've lost Oscar De La Hoya.

(If you ever lose Paul Wight, we'll miss you.)

Congratulations, man. That is truly a milestone to be proud of.

Congratulations man! I know weight loss is a tough road to walk, and my goal is nowhere near your accomplishment.

[identity profile] dvandom.livejournal.com 2005-05-03 06:08 pm (UTC)(link)
And now ONLY your ego is the size of Montana. :)

Woot Woot Woot!

Congratulations.

150 pounds is a LOT, and I'm really proud of you.

You inspire me to finish losing the 100 pounds I needed to lose when I was at 310. I'm only at 270, having bounced up from 265 because of kidney stone diet changes.

Bwahahaaa! Beware the adipose ninja!

(I, personally, choose to keep my adipose ninja under my skin, so I always know where he is--besides, with the majority of weight losers gaining it all back, which is known to harm health, I am not willing to risk my health by striving for weight loss. But that is my choice, not one I wish to impose on others--I hope you are able to maintain your loss, and I wish you all the best in your quest for better health.)

Bwahahaaa! Beware the adipose ninja!

I'm totally stealing that for the website.

I am not willing to risk my health by striving for weight loss.

Perfectly understandable. In my case, however, it was the difference between being dead within a couple of years and... well, not.

Dude! Rock, rock on!

You've beaten my total (2/3rds of a ninja).

I still think it's more fun to use archaic or odd measurements to tell people of how much weight you've lost. Converting to another measurement, you've lost over 68 billion micrograms. (Google Calculator (http://www.google.com/help/features.html#calculator) is my friend.)

The real question is, when do you say you've lost a pirate? ;-)

And congrats, man, most awesome.

I am ever so happy for you! And supportive of continued health efforts!

I'll bake the ninja cookies with Splenda so he doesn't get heavier but is too distracted to come after you.

Bones are an inconvenience. *chuckle* Many congratulations, my good man.

For those of you dealing in metric...

... I hereby declare, in the same spirit, that 70kg (approx. 154 pounds) equals one Napoleon of weight loss.

So, Eric, have you made it the extra four pounds to shedding un petit corporal? }:-{D
