I posted a message to the reference librarians list this morning, proclaiming that today is International Talk Like A Pirate Day. A few people were amused. Most were clueless. The music librarian appeared at my office as I was packing up, asking if TLAP day was "real", because she had a reference question on our chat reference service asking about it! She thought I made it up - LOL!! I sent her to wikipedia.

Arrrrrr. Methinks I'm in need of a new crew, mateys.
