These are the twits I twitted.
- 14:22 ...apparently, according to this presenter, the Web is now Web *2.0.* This is an innovative idea no one else thought of. Really. #
- 14:27 Fifteen minutes into "top ten Web 2.0 Applications for real life," we have watched three videos and identified 0 applications. #
- 14:35 Scott McLeod was responsible for that last, brain sucking video. I can't get away from comics. I can never get away from comics. Damn them!! #
- 15:00 ....is... is he really... telling us... about the exciting new innovation called "blogging?" #
- 15:03 ...he actually... he's talking about... that great new Web 2.0 technology... "webcomics." I have never been so tempted to storm the podium. #
- 15:05 A few things he missed, in talking about the top 10 web 2.0 applications: wikis, facebook, any social networking, twitter. He got 'blogs.' #
- 15:12 Oh thank God, we're done. I've only declined 19 I.Q. points and gained an odd appreciation for musak. #
- 19:40 Small happinesses: "A Certain Girl" by Zevon plays when she calls me. So on the one hand, she's calling me and that's awesome. Plus? Zevon. #

Date: 2008-06-21 02:53 am (UTC)Interestingly enough, Penny-Arcade made the Top 50 Websites (2008) list by Time, (with honorable mention to Achewood and PvP), as well as Gaia Online. Guess which two had the highest ratings of the top fifty websites? Your presenter may have been only reason why PA didn't get a perfect 100 score.
