Illness, which by now I should be used to

The 'high point' of my fever last night was 102.4. Most of the time it varied between 99 and 101. I saw medical folks today (I get blood drawn regularly to see how the medicine's affecting me) and enquired as to the illness while I was there. They took my temp a couple of times (back up to 101), and sent me back home, with orders for more fluids (I have orange juice and water, which are the keys), ibuprofin for the fever, and bedrest.
So here I am, and in a few minutes I'll be asleep.
"Nicole" didn't do a Self Justification yesterday -- illness got me during the time I was going to write it. I'll try to do two today, but we'll see.
'I was sick' must be a good one, don't you think?

"My doctor advised against exerting myself."
"the medicine made me fuzzy-headed."
(Just sayin' is all.)
Glad you're feeling better.
