Well. I'm not, that is.

Well, I went into work today, my fever broken though I'm still feeling generally crappy.
As I walked, however, I discovered my inner leg was hurting for no good reason. It was uncomfortable to walk.
This is, so people remember just how much of a cow I am, an area of my body I can't currently... well, see. At all.
Doing a probe revealed a pretty solid mass, warm and painful to the touch.
I called the doctor. I'm to go to the ER right after work, so they can examine it. And see if it needs draining (as an abscess), surgical removal (as an abscess), or something else. And possibly to have an ultrasound done to see if I have a blood clot in my leg.
The last time this happened, last August, I went into the hospital expecting to have it drained. Two hours later I was under general anesthesia while they cut into. For the next six weeks I had to have a nurse come every day, wash the wound, and apply clean dressings. It wasn't fun.
That was also an abscess
If whatever it is is infected -- as it almost certainly is -- it's probably why I've been fevered.
I'm not so sure I'm going to Arisia now. Hell, I'm not so sure I'm not spending another night in the hospital. Or two nights. Or rest of the week.
I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. Damn them for postponing my gastric bypass anyway. The sooner I get rid of this damn mountain blocking my view, the better.

I know you hate this, but you will get past this.
I will think lots of good, healing, mildly perky (I don't think you want full on perk when you're not feeling well) thoughts your way.
Lots of Love, babish. ::HUGS::

You'd think the criteria for "medically necessary" would have been met by now. :(
These are the times when I wish I was rich so I could help people more than I can in my current state. :P :/

It could be worse. That could be a greek-god-to-be sewn up in there.
