But we caught it much earlier. Much much earlier. And with the poison out my body, my brain is much livelier.
It was the same surgeon as last time. He warned me to expect more of these until Cigna gets off their collecting posteriors and gets me the surgery. He's a cool guy. He and his nurse had good banter during the procedure, too.
They were very impressed with how relaxed I kept the lower half of my body while they used a needle to SET FIRE TO ALL THE NERVES OF MY BODY! AIIIIIIIEEEEE! The nurse said my eyes got big, but that was it. All I know is I underwent initiation at that point and raised my magic attribute by a point.
I'm on antibiotics now, under orders to stay abed for tonight, and see the surgeon to have stuff checked tomorrow. This, I will happily do.
So. We're cool.
