"Websnark isn't what it used to be. He's losing it."

Cross that one off the list, kids.

That I won't divulge. I have some supporters who'd go and disagree. Perhaps loudly. And the thing is, the position was well writ and legitimate, so it would be both ironic and hypocritical to release the hounds on it. ;)

I have no idea what's going on, but I guess someone whined at you, "Awww, gee Eric. I want you to stay exactly the same person with the same creative desires, goals, and interests that you did when you first became an internet micro-celebrity in 2004."

I know having everyone kissing your ass is real seductive and you want to do what you can to keep those lips on your behind, but let's get serious: You're doing this as a passtime, right? You have a real job in the real world, and when it comes down to it, electronic fame is about as meaningful as passing gas.

Yeah, you have some influence now, and yeah people have come to look upon what you do seriously. But you know what, just because some people are whining about their unfulfilled hero worship (Assuming I'm right) doesn't mean that YOU should be taking it seriously as well.

Eric, having some perspective about the web is important. A lot of people dont have it. Don't slip into the same La-la Land, and just do what you feel is best for you, the guy doing the actual work. The only person who has to live your life is you.

Get what I'm saying?

And if I'm wrong for the reasons for this mope, well, the idea is a good one anyway.
