Don't be sorry for the impulse to post. Sometimes, if you write down everything that's distressing you, put it aside, and read it later, it gives you some perspective.
Have you ever read The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron? I've only read parts of it, but one of her big things involves morning pages. First thing in the AM, sit down and write 3 pages longhand, not stopping to edit yourself. It doesn't matter if you write "I don't know what to write" over and over again for three pages. Her theory is that you'll dump all the superfluous crap out of your brain, and help unblock your creativity. Oh, and you DON'T go back and read it! My therapist told me she used to write 3 pages, and immediately shred them. It helps a little (if I can manage to drag my sorry ass out of bed early enough to do it!). [/unsolicited advice]
I really think you need to draw another icon of yourself that doesn't feature the cheerful expression, because seeing it next to entries like the previous causes severe dissonance. Draw yourself with a scowl, and angry red eyes.
